Opening CSV file

I have been able to download a CSV file (with my the data I entered into my iPhone with Glucose Buddy) into my computer successfully. When I go to open this file with Excel 2013 I can not see the file in the folder I downloaded it to. Are there some settings I need to make in Excel to see this file and then open it?

I have the 2004 version of Excel and it opens the file fine. I can't think of any special settings that you need to set. You may need to import the file into your version Excel. You can also try opening the file with Word.
