I agree that a "Known Issues/Problems" kind of sticky would probably be a good move to more easily address these kinds of things. It could also get the ball rolling about GB's lack of official documentation. Minimally, this could lead to an official GB FAQ and/or possibly "official documentation".

I agree! I think that if there were a central location for facts, this would cut down on some of the questions being asked. Not everyone knows how to do a search or that there is a search feature, for that matter.

In the world I come from, a software system that lacks any sort of official documentation for the people who use it suffers from one of the most heinous bugs/faults/problems (BFPs) that it can have. In the grand scheme of things, all other BFPs are less serious than this one.

I whole heartedly agree! It would have been nice to have atleast an on-line user manual, as I could have used it many times.

P.S. I hope nobody gets offended by my "open eyes & look" comment; obviously, everyone sees & interprets things (including the software they use) differently. You know, everyone has a special personal groove. :)

I also hope not! I tend to get short with people when I answer questions over and over, as well. I don't have a lot of time to make long posts over the course of the day and this causes my posts to be very short answers sometimes.
On the IOS4: I downloaded it last night. The last time that I installed a newer version, of the operating system, I had to go back to the original "New Phone" configuration. This install was no different. It took a couple of hours to do and I did not lose anything. I have learned to do a backup before I even attemp a download. Thankfully I have had good restores.
I like the IOS4 software so far and I have all of my Apps so I am a happy camper.
