what do you do when you always feel hungry?

I checked my blood, it's good 108, had dinner 2 hours before Cobb salad , now feel like I'm hungry again. It seems for me to find something last long.

Eat more vegetable. There are many that are almost free of carbs. Drink lots of water, as well.

Eat more lean protein at least three times a day-include a scoop of Whey every day. Combine it with poly and monounsaturated fat (many veggies especially avocados or celery with peanut butter are examples).

I eat an apple midway between meals and chew gum when hungry between meals. I am hardly perfect at maintaining my diet but try hard.

I practice "hand to mouth" therapy. I buy a big bag of sunflower seeds, sit in front of the TV and eat them. If you are on a sodium restricted diet, then this is a no-no. I try to eat low fat low calorie sugarless snacks.

Always hungry

For me the answer lies in using the plate method (1/2 plate veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carbs, and making sure the carbs I eat are more complex carbohydrates (as opposed to simple carbs). This has gone a long way in curbing my appetite and cravings. I'm also trying to remember to eat every 4-5 hours. This really helps!

It's the opposite for me. I son has to force me to eat something at least once every couple of days.
