Dr gives up!?
 

I've been seeing what I thought was a God send! This Dr sees me with no insurance( I pay cash for $85.00) started Feb 9 2015.
Been seeing him every week at times every few days because I have BS levels of 500 and higher!
I refused to take Metformin! I agreed to insulin ( started at 12) and was to increase until I could get a reading of 110 in the am. At 45 units at night of Levemir and 2,4 and 6 units at each meal during the day. The last visit he added the Novolog 3 times a day walked out of the office said he'd be right back and next thing untold visit is over- he now won't returns calls or call me? I did blood work the last day and have not been given my results? What would you think is going on???!

Sounds to me as if you are not being compliant in your instructions.

Strange behavior on doctor's part. Tell the office you want copies of your medical record including your labs. Then take them to another doctor or clinic. You deserve better care.

Not the behaviour of a caring or ethical health practitioner. Doctors as well as patients have both rights & responsibilities & both should be held accountable for their actions. Obtain your pathology reports & take them to another medical practitioner.

My dentist did something weird like that and I found out he was sick and died 5 months later.
