high levels becoming normal

So I have been Type 1 for ten years this summer, I'm on the pump and the past few years my levels have skyrocketed. I got sick and I couldn't get them down and my body got used to being high all the time. Now I feel stuck because I feel low when I'm at 200 and even worse when I'm dropping. I can't seem to allow myself to be below 150 without thinking I'm going low and need to eat and then the roller coaster begins again. I've switched to a much better doctor but if my mindset of panic attacks doesn't change I don't know if a new doctor can help. Does anybody else have this problem?

A lot of people have this problem. You just have to test often and trust your meter. Once your body gets used to the normal "lower" levels the low feeling will subside. It just takes time. Good luck with your control and management.
