Can I expect a high BG # at the end of a day during which I fasted (unintentionally, of course)?

You should not expect to see high blood glucose at the end of the day during fasting, planned or not. I suppose that this is one way of checking to see if your meds are actually working, but that is a drastic measure for a test.
