once a day?
 

This morning my drs assistant told me that I'm type two and to check my sugar once a day. Wouldn't checking it twice or three times a day be better?

Mine is once/day. I go back in one month then another A1C will do done. Depending upon that information and morning level, my doctor will discuss further treatment.

I usually check my blood sugars depends on how I am doing in terms of controlling the sugar. My suggestion is do the testing if needed. Sometimes I check twice a day, other times once a day or once every other day.

Be glad you only have to check once a day. The testing strips are expensive. I am suppose to check up to 9 times a day, but it ends up being a lot less. But if the dr's office says only once a day I would listen to them
