Newish Type 2 with BED
 

Hi,

I've had the Glucose Buddy app for awhile but haven't been putting it to good use. Diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in October of 2012 after many, many years of the prediabetes warning (also gestational diabetes a while back). I also have a diagnosed eating disorder (Binge-Eating/Compulsive Overeating) which goes a long way to explain why I didn't nip this in the bud. I've been in treatment for that for almost 7 years. I am a 40yo female in Minnes-snow-ta and I am looking to connect with a few people for support. Also, I use Azumio's Argus app and I really get a kick out of it, but I want it to be integrated with Glucose Buddy-- so if anyone else is interested in that, let's get together and ask for it!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
