Hello All

I had my galbladder taken out about a year ago, and after that I have been having trouble controlling my sugar and weight. Before I had the galbladder taken out I was losing weight and my sugar levels were doing great.

Did the galbladder effect my sugar levels? I still work out at the gym and watch what I eat, but I still have trouble controlling them both.

What suggestion does anyone have for this problem? Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum! :)

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

I am sorry that I can't fully answer your question, but if you will do a Google Search on "gallbladder removal diabetes risk" you will most-likely find some answers to your question.
