How do I use food log?

:confused:I am just beginning to use the Glucose Buddy and wish to create the best information I can capture to help manage my type2 diabetes. I am using the online log and cannot figure out how to capture food data. Usually, I record in my spreadsheets the grams of fat, sodium, carbs, fiber and protein. For years I have been in search of a system that would integrate tests, intake, activity and A1C to learn how my body responds to all of the above. When I tried to use the food log, I did not see how it could be used in the way described above. Is there a calorie counter and food dictionary with nutritional information in this site?

GB is a great app for tracking blood sugar but for nutrition there are lots of MUCH better options. Personally I use LiveStrong.com (it has a good food dictionary and also provides tracking with a diabetic option that shows your various carbs and such plotted against your glucose) but it's just one of many good options.

Hi there - I use carbs & Cals app as a great tool to understand what is in each meal I have. Quick, easy and helpful.
Good luck
