Newbie

Hi just found out 2 wks ago that I have type 2 diabetes I know that it runs in my family and that I was over weight , just didn't recognize the signs. So much to learn and read its all very overwhelming My new doctor put me on medicine that I take twice a day it gives me a lot of gas in the late night hours and it seems I'm up more durning the nite to use the bathroom. Was wondering how long it will take for my blood sugar to level out

Welcome to the forum! :)

It can take up to two weeks or so for some of the meds to get into your system. You can help things along by watching what you eat and getting some exercise. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 section when you get a chance. Good luck with your control and management.

The forum is available inside the GB App, just go to the main menu and select the "GB Forum" icon. Using this may help some, if you haven't noticed it. ;)
