Entering a food into my log

I am brand new at this and trying to figure out how to add a food to my daily food log on the app on my phone. . I have tried several different methods and it appears I have it correct, but when I press the save button it says there is nothing to save. Any suggestions?

Check to make sure that you are inputting the food as described in the "GB Help" thread.
