exporting logs on a mac

I've managed to export my logs to excel from my work PC, but now that i'm on my mac at home, they seem to just export into a text file - which is useless. does anyone know how to export logs into excel so i can manipulate and look for patterns?

thanks for the help!!

Welcome to the Forum! :)

Sorry, I don't use a Mac, so I can't help...

I have exported my data from the web interface as csv. That can be interpreted by excel and other spreadsheet apps on my Mac. Unfortunately the report tool won't work on Mac because it required asx which is MS only. I did some manipulations and created some nice scatter graphs of my bg levels. I find that more informative than the hi/Lo/avg in the iPhone app (which I still love :-)

How to export log to Mac

Hereʻs what worked for me:

1. CTRL click on "Export All Logs."
2. "Save linked file as..." to a folder or desktop.
3. Open the downloaded file - NUMBERS application should automatically open the file as a spreadsheet ready to be manipulated and sorted as you wish.

Good luck!

SO SIMPLE! Many thanks. "Glucose Buddy" should make this available to Apple/Mac users. BTW, this is the only way I could find to put the data in a "first to last" order so that it coincides with the graph.
