Hello all. Our 12 yo son was diagnosed on april 29 with type 1. Huge range of emotions but we are taking control and not going to let this control his life. He is still the same great boy and will keep moving forward with positive attitude. Diabetes does not define who he is. Thanks

I have walked the same trail as you, when my son was 10. That was 25 years ago. Learn all that you can about your son's condition, as knowledge is power over the diabetes beast. Good luck with your son's control and management. I wish you all well.
