food log apps

I'm looking for a food log app that I can enter the time I ate and track calories, carbs, etc. Any ideas?

Look near the end of the "Carb Counting 101" thread or just click on this link.

Great food app

Try Livestrong.com. Best app and website I've found. Tracks your food and provides nutritional information for everything in their extensive database. Plots your carbs vs. food intake and other values. Also tracks blood sugar and workouts and allows you to see graphically how your carbs match up against your glucose levels which can be petty eye-opening.

I am NOT a rep for this site, just a user that found it works for me.

"Lose it" has great functions like scanning UPC codes
It's so functional. Counts all nutritional info too. You will love it

FitDay

FitDay.com is pretty good too. Allows you to enter custom foods, also tracks weight, mood, required Cals. All in all a great product for free. Also has iphone/ipad app as well as pc.

I've been using "Carb Control" app on my iPhone. Someone on the American Diabetes Association forums recommended it. I had to pay 1.99 for the app but I like it. You can find foods by type or brand and it gives you all the nutrition facts. You can put all the foods that your normally eat into you favorites to easily access them to log. Then you can email your log.

Hi Sedline. I use myfitnesspal on my iPhone.

kclee 09-01-2013 04:51 PM

I am transitioning to myfitnesspal because it links to roadtastic and runtastic. The road one is for cycling and the run one has nearly very kind of exercise imaginable. They help link your exercise, diet and calories intake/ expenditures. Too bad they don't post you carbs to gluclose buddy! :)
