How to set your bg ranges?
 

I notice my avg in ranges use a 70 - 120 but our target is 150 now and not 120, how can I change it?

The is no way to change the target range. The 70-120 is pretty much the norm for 99% of people with diabetes. I urge you to read through the blood sugar 101 thread or at least do some research on the long term dangers of keeping the average blood sugar greater than 140.

Thank you Danny, I totally agree with you about that being high.
She has only been DX'd 9 months and around month 4 she was having quite a few lows so that is when they raised her target to 150. I will definitely look at the thread you're speaking of when I have a free minute. I too thought raising it to that was ridiculous. Since I'm only step mom there's only so much I can do. It's a long complicated situation that should remedy itself in the next month or two.

I understand why the doctor did this, but feel that it could have been accomplished better by adjusting the insulin or the carb intake. Just my thoughts. Here is the link to Blood Sugar 101. Look for the section on Healthy Blood Sugar Targets. Good luck and I hope that it all works out.

You need to register online on glucosebuddy.com and then from there you can change your high/low range to correlate.

I personally would like to know how to do that. Can you post instructions?

on your app go to "settings", the first option is "account info", hit "create an account" and follow the steps from there.
