Yes, you can enter bg, food and meds all at one time if you choose to do so. Please take a look at the "GB Help" thread, it will help you to set up your food and med list.

Can not get the food picker to come up and it will not let change the date what am I doing, I just feel like giving up

If you are trying to use the "CalorieTrack" it is very problematic. Read the "Carb Counting 101" thread and try the list of apps in my last post.
