Just found out I'm pre diabetes.

I had open heart surgery on July 6 2012. The dr put me on metformin 500mg 2 a day. Now he thinks I have COPD. Going in for testing next Friday .

Good luck with the test, I hope they prove the doctor wrong. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, in the meantime. Hopefully, they will help you with the diabetes part.

I do have COPD just adding more to the list :( I'm on two inhalers so its not to bad yet.
