Hello,

I have had Type 2 diabetes for about 17 years now. I have tried almost every diabetes pill there is. Metformin did lower my bg and help me lose a great deal of weight; however, it caused extreme stomach problems. Most other pills I have tried didnt have much of an effect.

I am currently taking 5mg of Byetta twice a day. Unfortunately, sometimes i do forget to take it. I need to get my routine down so that I automatically remember to take it. It won't help me if I don't take it, right?

Anyway, I reside in Colorado. I've been here about 25 years. I am originally from upstate New York. I have two grown children, a son and a daughter; and I have a three-year old grandson (the light and joy of my life) and another grandson expected to arrive in September. I also have two wonderful male kittycats, Zipper and Socks.
