alpha lipoic acid : help nueropathy ?

i read in the mayo clinic site that this can help eliminate the pains in legs & feet . Has anyone tried it ?

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Yes, I take it daily with Biotin. So far, nothing. I don't have any pain, however, just a tingling in the legs.
