Hello I am a 33 yr old male and just found out yesterday I am a type 1 diabetic. I don't know much about this desease but I am all ears. Looking coward to getting support from people that really know what they are talking about

Self-Education is one of the keys to managing diabetes. Read through the first three (3) threads in the Type 2 Section, they will help you as well. Learn to count carbs, then do a Tag Search for "Advanced Carb Counting". If you have questions just ask. Good Luck with your control and management.
