Glucose tested 356!
 

I just got diagnosed with being type 2 diabetic. I was tested at 500, and was told to take meds and watch what I eat. I just wondering if I should call my Doctor because I'm about to go to bed and tested at 356?

356 is better than 500, but it is still not great. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, they will help you a lot. Good luck in beating those numbers down.

Eating a well balanced diet of fruits and vegetables and Exercise are the Key to controlling your diabetes, if you tested at 356, you need to get out and exercise even walking, layoff the garbage food.

Thanks you reply's helped a lot. I've started 2 a days power walk in the morning and evening. Now I'm at 217 almost at my goal. 😃
