Insulin sensitivity has several meanings depending on your condition and body/system make-up. Basically, for us with diabetes, insulin sensitivity is the opposite of insulin resistant. Insulin sensitivity usually means that it takes less insulin to counter the carbs consumed.

Try a Google search for "insulin sensitivity" and you will find the various meanings.
