eye floaters?

I've been type 1 for almost a year now and have acquired eye floaters. My numbers are controlled but I was told that they developed because my levels were high before I was diagnosed. My concern is are they normal? Do they ever go away? Or anything you can do for them? It would be a great comfort to hear from someone who can possibly answer some of those questions or just share their own experience with this. Thanks

I had floaters. They were precursors to a detached retina. A simple surgery can fix that if it gets to that point. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. I had a diabetic retinal exam and everything was fine and also have 20/20 vision but these floaters still persist and are seemingly getting worse. And that link seriously suggested to look at the moon to help them go away? Really? Can anyone else chime in that could be helpful to me. It would really be Appreciated. Thank you

Might be old age. Are you over the age of 83?

No worries floaters don't have anything to do with diabetes. :)
