New to GB
 

I am a 38 yr old female living in Albany, NY. I just found out yesterday that I have Type 2 diabetes. Right now I'm kind of scared and not sure what road this is going to bring me. I know that I have a very supportive family, a loving husband and 2 wonderful children. My goal is to get this under control and live a long healthy life.

The first thing is to read and learn all you can about your condition. Read the first three threads in the T2 Section to start with. They will help alot.
