GB won't sync between pc and Touch

Installed GB on my touch, signed up, verified email addy.

went to my PC and logged in to GB and put in a couple of log items.

reopened GB on my touch, hit " Quick sync"--it says "No Logs to Sync".

HELP!!!!!!!

ah, looks like syncing goes only FROM the portable device, TO the web, but not vice versa. Correct?

Not Correct, I think, if I understand your question. You can post from web to device.

Post to the web from one device, then back to the other device from the web.

Make sure your 2 way sync setting is set to "ON" (download & upload) on your portable device.

I don't see any such setting on either touch or the web. I'm using the free version of GB, 3.6.0

Now I'm trying to input CARBS (w/o regards to what foods I've eaten) and can't find a way to do that. all i can find is the option to input Foods.

Look at the "GB Documentation & Known Issues/Problems" thread, it tells how to input the food logs. I hope it helps.

I finally figured it out. First one has to create an entry for food, save, and then go back to the previous screen where we can then enter the carbs. Kinda roundabout, IMO. Seems like I HAVE to choose an item from the food list, instead of JUST inputting carbs.

It is kind of round about for us, using carbs. However, others may not use this type of input and they wouldn't be happy if it was only set up for carbs. The programmers haven't been able to please everyone yet, but they are trying. Good luck with the input, I input my food three (3) times a day and it becomes second nature after a while.
