I went through much what you describe with my son at that age. The doctor explained to us that puberty and raging hormones has the the body all messed up and having diabetes doesn't help. We stepped up control and watched the food intake carefully. We eventually got through it. Everything should fall in place with age. I trust that you have spoken to your doctor about this.
