So I took some prednisone for a bronchospasm. My blood sugars have been running high and that's been 3 to 4 weeks ago. When will they go back to normal. I'm taking my berberine (I can't take metformin) and my tanzeum shots like I'm supposed to. What's up with that.

Are you off the prednisone now? How about your diet , exercise .... are they well controlled? What's your sugar situation like .... actual reading and what were they . Depends on all the above , prednisone also increases appetite and that could make things worse as well. Also what's your age and activity level?
