newly diagnosed type 2
 

Hello All~

I was just diagnosed with type 2 DM on 12/30/10. My A1C was 10.6 with sugars in the 350+ range. I am now on metformin 1000 mg daily and Lantus 14 units daily. Still not very well controlled though. Headed back to doc tomorrow.

I am so glad I have found this spot. I told my doc about it and she has passed it along to several others with DM. The app is on my phone with my numbers logged in, and now printed out and ready to take to her!

Still so much to learn though....
