Hi all. I found out in June of 10 that i had diabetes. my a/c 1 was 9.l0.
I was very scared when I found out. I had it when i was pregant then it went away. I am seeing a specilatst for diabetes. since June I have lost about 60 pounds. I just saw my doctor the other day. in september my a/c 1 was 7
it has been a very hard road for me. I often say why me. my doctor is very pleased with the weight loss. I am excersiing and watching very carefully what I eat. I struggle with it everyday. I feel like it is taking over my life.
I am married and have a 12 year old son. I feel as if all I do is focus on this.
I love sweets and it is killing me not to eat them. but I have said I need to make a life changing choice. because the diabetes can do so much harm it i don't control it. I am doing well with it. my number when I wake up it about 100 to l05 then after meals about 80 to 90. I still need to lose more weight.
but am taking it one day at a time.
