Feb A1c. 13.5. June 2007 6.9.

Been hanging at the 6.5 % for 4 years. Med's and life style made the change. Overnight fasting the hardest. Hate feeling hungry. Any help with a evening snack that will hold over night. Have woke with shakes down below 65. Been feeling great around 155.

The A1c of 6.5% equates to an Average Blood Glucose of 140 mg/dl. Congratulations, you are doing well even though you are at the upper level. I am sure that you know that an A1c of 6.0% (Average Blood Glucose in mg/dl 126 mg/dl) or below would be much better for you. Sometimes these numbers are very hard to reach, atleast they are for me.
