Hello - I am a Type II Diabetic
 

Hello
I am a type II diabetic and have been so for the past 7 years.
I am on Metformin 2000mg a day and my most recent HBA1C is 7.3 - I don't diet or exercise as I should and have a stress filled schedule :)
I am being asked to take Januvia and quite nervous about trying a drug thats relatively new in the market.
So here I am in an attempt to get some order and control in place so that I can manage this condition better.
Any input, suggestions, comments and advise are most welcome.

My advice is to read all you can on your condition and find out what works best for you. Everyone of us is different, but we have the D in common. Good luck with your control and management. Remember to test, test, and test some more. Testing your blood sugar frequently is the only way to find out what foods are bad for you.
