ED

Bigtime problem. Doing what I can to solve the issue. Does maintaining a 95-115 blood sugar help or "once its gone," its gone?

duposg 01-20-2010 10:52 AM

not gone

I had a similar problem for about a year, and thanks to the blue pill, I got throught that time. I think part of the reason for me was the change in meds and took some time to get used to them. But in any case, talk to your doctor. It can be fully restored.

+1 on probably the meds.

Follow the advice of the previous poster "duposg" and Smilin' Bob will have nothing on you.

I am newly diagnosed, and have had the issue for a couple years. I was in a horrible marriage, and didn't need it to be ready.

Now I am out, and looking at getting back into life. My question is wether gaining control of my glucose levels will allow me to perform once again? Or as the Original poster asked....when it's gone it's gone?

I am am picking up my meds this afternoon, and am in the gung ho phase of trying to get my life back under control, so I am thirsting for knowledge.

OMG, I'm running into the same problem as of late and didnt want to believe Diabetes had a role in it, gonna ask Doctor about the blue pill.
Gotta be better than my idea of putting 2 popsicle sticks and making a splint! :p

Elevated glucose levels can definitely contribute to ED, however, other things can as well i.e. High Blood Pressure or HBP meds, Anti-depressants, stress of any sort, esp if there is tension between partners, low testosterone levels etc.
So, to quote the TV ads "ask your doctor about... the Side Effects of any medications you are on and about getting a Serum Testosterone level done.

I am having such a hard time maintaining an erection. Cilias helps sometimes. You see these tv adds for all kinds of mens pills that are natural, like Extenze. Do any of them really work?

gabbiano 07-12-2010 11:01 AM

Does extense work?

Improvement

Hi, after a couple weeks into this illness (I'm type I), reduced BG levels and insulin have brought me back in the game! There is hope. If you have been diabetic for years, have a full blood test for all hormones, as a decrease in them may be the grounds on the limits of desire. I was on testosterone
Before being diagnosed and things are functioning, so it was more the affects of the disease, than my low testosterone (3,65).

Good luck in getting back to norm.
