It loaded for me. Did you install the Calorie Track App from the GB link icon?

Dennisu 05-07-2011 04:02 PM

Installed from link and it won't load for me too.

Cant quite figure out Calorie Track. It loads data into Glucose Buddy but does not store it within own app. Help.

I cannot get it to sync in the glucose buddy. Loaded fine and saves in it's own program.

If you're referring to the data not showing up in your GB app it's because you don't have the 2-way sync. CalorieTrack only pushes it to the GB website and only streams down if you have 2-way.

Calorie Tracker won't load on my itouch and why would GB partner with a piece of software that has a one star rating in the app store?

We'll be working with them to make it work for all devices. No worries. It has something to do with memory usage and not loading on older devices.

Thanks for the reply. Glucose Buddy is a great program I hate to see it ruined by another program

We whole heartedly agree, which is why we'll be working really hard to make it work more seamlessly with GB in the near future.

If I only have one device, do I still need to buy the 2 device integration if I want to sync from the web to my gb app?

Jonny: yes that is correct. what you are trying to do is part of the multi-device add-on.

To me, that's a design flaw.

If I only have one device, why should I pay for a multiple device add-on for a feature that, by the nature of the the existence of a "Quick Sync" button should already be there?

A sync is two-way by default, otherwise it's not a sync, but an update. The chicken way to fix that would be change the "Quick Sync" button to an "Update Server" button.

This brings me to perhsps my core complaint: Why the heck is that feature so bloody expensive?$13? Really? That's twice as much as I've paid for the GB +upgrades. That's not an upgrade, that's punishment!

If it were buck or two, I probably wouldn't have even bothered with this post and just bought it to compensate for a design flaw in the Calorie Track app that doesn't let you modify the date of the food entry, making the idea of putting in all your meals at once impossible.

So, in a nutshell, I don't feel like I should have to pay anything, let alone $13, for a feature that is directly implied to already exist.

I would hope that for your next release, you either update the robustness of the sync for one device or come way, way down on the price of the multi-device upgrade.

Which will it be?
