Any suggestions? I don't want generic answers like "ones low in carbs and sugar" - I know that already. But if anyone has a morning favorite I would love to know!

I like the original cheerios and Kelloggs flakes. Sometimes I put a couple of packets of Equal on them or fresh fruit like berries or half of a bananna.

My breakfast for today and everyday - cornflakes!

I used to have a hard time with breakfast 2 years ago. I couldn't decide what to eat for breakfast because everyday I get bored what I eat. Next day I had to decide again what to eat this time. Days after days, I left with no choice. I then eat cornflakes and amazingly I didn't get bored with it. Since 2 years, I have been taking same breakfast -

1) Cornflakes with milk
2) Juice (Orange, Apple, or Mixed fruit)

:p

breakfast

For the past three weeks I have been making smoothies with unsweetened almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, and whatever other fruits I have in the house (except bananas which I have been told not to eat). I add no carb vegetable based protein powder, some veggies like carrots, kale, etc. and toss it in my vita mix. It is satisfying, cooling in these hot temps, and easy because I can make a batch that lasts two days. Love my vita mix. Marlene

Holy crap! How many carbs are you all allowed? My doctor told me 30-45 grams per meal 3 meals a day and 15-30 grams for a snack 2 snacks a day. I see people eating up to 70 for breakfast. I have such a hard time finding things to eat! 3/4 of frozen diet meals are over what I'm allowed.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so I want to be sure it is interesting and hearty. Chobani nonfat peach yogurt + 1/2 Thomas' light English muffin topped with 1/4 T of Smart Balance chunky peanut butter is one great way to start the day. Another is a Weight Watchers Salted Caramel Smoothie mix with 1 cup Silk light original soy milk and the English muffin is another combination. Steel cut oatmeal with fresh blueberries/strawberries and pumpkin seeds, blanched almonds, dried cranberries is delicious too!

You have celiac disease? My daughter has tested positive for the antibodies. Have not been to the gastroenterologist yet for a diagnosis. Tell me everything you know about this disease

I eat a gluten free blueberry multigrain waffle (Vans) topped with almond butter and an apple sprinkled with cinnamon. I add a meat, chicken fetta sausage and a glass of plain almond milk.
