I take an English muffin and split and toast it then I add a slice of ham or other lunch meat and a slice of cheese then microwave it to melt the cheese about 20 seconds. I add to that a small apple on the side and some fresh berries. I also take niacin to keep my triglycerides from sticking to the artery walls along with multiple vitamins.

Something small that works for every meal for me pretty much..
I put hot sauce / hot peppers on EVERYTHING.
YEah I like the burn, but it seems that it must raise my metabolisim or something because I only eat white bread (Low budget here) and sharing a sandwich with a diabetic friend never raises my BG as high as his/hers and the only difference is the added hot sauce or peppers..
NOTE Blairs hot sauce makes a powder (Death Rain Nitro) thats hot as heck BUT it's first ingredient is corn syrup so it's a no no..

I always am under control for breakfast.. My problem is dinner;(

I usually have a bowl of grits and/or oatmeal. If I'm pressed for time I'll eat a carrot stick and a piece of fruit.

My breakfast is the simplest one. I take oat porridge and a glass of fresh juice. And in addition I take salad sometimes in the week. But I don't eat so much in the breakfast.
