Get this app if you have a smartphone or iPad: iCookbook-Diabetic (This app allows you to change the recipe/serving to make individual meals or group meala easily!!) If you don't have one, post your email and I will happily send you meals/recipes. Often times local hospitals or medical centers (even in rural areas) will offer a diabetes nutrition classes that cater to your specific needs. This is great because they help you with meal planning for your diabetes but also help you come up with tasty filling meals that others will enjoy as well.
Eggs are the perfect protein and your body can break it down easily. You can eat them for any meal...even as a snack (I sometimes hard boil them for a quick snack).
Non-starchy veggies are a great addition to a protein at any meal - I particularly love beans with chicken at dinner.

I eat focus on high protein. If ur on the run. Premium protein shakes @ Costco (choc is my fav) only 1 gr sugar, 30g protein & 160 calories. Also for breakfast light & fit Dannon Greek yogurt. AMAZING. But the key high protein. Very filling keeps BG down plus curbs ur appetite
