- I recently drove across the country blog site for the first time, and came across the most adorable little town four hours north of Reykjavik, called Hofsos. They have a community pool (quite typical in all Icelandic communities) that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean — it had been incredible. I felt like I was swimming for the edge of the globe. There aren’t many tourists there, either. I suggest it!
